Can my Stella Nova lamp be used outdoors? Yes! The Stella Nova lamps are engineered to survive the outdoors. Our fabrics are incredibly tough, and we use stainless steel components that handle the weather. While they are built for multiple years of service, they can be easily collapsed for winter storage to extend their longevity in areas with heavy snow and ice.
What about rain or moisture? The lamps and the included UL-rated cord are outdoor-rated and designed to handle the elements. However, we recommend that the location where the cord is plugged in remains protected from direct rain. Always use an outdoor-rated E26 LED bulb for exterior installations.
What type of light bulb do I use? These lamps are designed for use with standard E26 size LED bulbs, which are the most efficient and longest-lasting options available.
I just set up my lamp shade—why is the shape slightly distorted? Don't worry! After being unpacked, the Tyvek® material may need 2–3 days to "relax" and stretch into its correct position once the frame is installed.
