Can my Stella Nova lamp be used outdoors? Absolutely! The Stella Nova collection is engineered to survive the elements. We use weather-resistant Tyvek® and stainless steel hardware. While built for longevity, the lamp is collapsible, making it easy to take down and store during extreme winter months to preserve the fabric’s finish.
What about rain or moisture? These lamps are outdoor-rated and include a UL-rated cord designed for safe outdoor use. We recommend that the outlet where the lamp is plugged in is protected from direct exposure to the elements. Always pair with an outdoor-rated E26 LED bulb for exterior settings.
What type of light bulb should I use? The Stella Nova is optimized for standard E26 LED bulbs. These are the most energy-efficient and provide the best light quality for the punched patterns.
Why is the shape slightly distorted after I set it up? Because the lamp is shipped flat/collapsed, the Tyvek® material may need 2–3 days to fully "relax" and stretch into a perfect sphere once the internal frame is installed.
