How do I set up and use my solar lantern? Setting up your solar lantern is easy!

1. Prepare: Remove the plastic battery tab.

2. Power On: Turn the solar panel switch to the “on” position.

3. Assemble: Install the internal lantern supports to expand the globe.

4. Charge: Hang your lantern in direct sunlight (6 hours for best results) with the solar panel facing up toward the sun. Once the sun sets, the photosensor will turn the lantern on automatically!

Can my solar lantern be left outside year-round? Yes! Allsop Home & Garden Lanterns are engineered to survive the outdoors. We use tough fabrics and stainless steel components specifically designed to handle the weather. While they are rated for multiple years of service, they will experience normal wear from being outside. To maximize longevity, some owners choose to take their lanterns down during winter months in areas prone to heavy snow and ice.
