Pollinator Wildflower Seed Blend 375ml

The Pollinator Wildflower Seed Blend adds vibrant colors and textures to your garden that attract a variety of pollinators like bees, butterflies, and ladybugs that help your garden thrive and your community flourish. The constant activity of buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies adds dynamic beauty and sensory delight to your outdoor space. Spending time in nature and observing life in your garden can be incredibly relaxing and therapeutic, contributing to improved mental health.

Beautifully layered in a clear 375ml Bordeaux wine bottle are both annual and perennial favorites like Echinacea, Perennial Lupine, and Dwarf Sungold Sunflower, and mixtures that contain many more, such as the Yellow Prairie Coneflower, Baby Blue Eyes, and New England Aster, curated so you have colorful blooms from Spring through Fall.

By planting a pollinator garden, you're not just creating a beautiful space; you're actively contributing to the health of our planet and the well-being of countless species, including ourselves!

·         If you grow your own fruits, vegetables, or even just herbs, pollinators will significantly boost your harvest. Well-pollinated plants produce larger, tastier, and more abundant fruits and seeds. That includes fruit like apples, blueberries, strawberries, many vegetables, nuts, and even coffee and chocolate!

·         Over 80% of the world's flowering plants need pollinators to reproduce. A pollinator garden attracts a wider variety of insects, birds, and other wildlife. By providing food and shelter, you create a vibrant mini-ecosystem, supporting species that might otherwise struggle due to habitat loss.

·         Many pollinator-friendly plants also attract beneficial insects, like ladybugs and lacewings) that prey on common garden pests. This can naturally reduce the need for harmful pesticides in your yard.

·        Plants in your garden naturally help purify the air by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. Their roots also improve soil structure, helping the ground absorb rainwater more effectively. This reduces runoff pollution that can otherwise carry contaminants into local waterways.

·         By supporting plant life, pollinator gardens contribute to carbon sequestration (locking carbon dioxide in the soil and plants), which helps combat climate change. They can also help reduce the "urban heat island effect" in paved areas.

·       These gardens are fantastic living classrooms. They offer a wonderful way to learn about the natural world, observe fascinating insect behaviors, and teach children about the importance of ecological balance and where our food comes from.

Vermiculite Included! Vermiculite improves heavy soil, prevents compaction, and improves drainage and aeration.

Plant in the Spring or Fall. Mix the seeds and vermiculite well, scatter evenly across a roughed soil, and lightly sprinkle topsoil over the seed mixture. Water daily until germination and responsibly thereafter.

Seeds must be stored in a cool, dark place unless saving as a keepsake.
