FAQs

How do I set up and use my solar lantern?
Remove the plastic battery tab (2021 and newer models), switch the solar panel to the “on” position, install the lantern supports, and hang the lantern in direct sunlight with the solar panel facing upward. For best results, allow approximately six hours of charging. The built-in photosensor will automatically turn the lantern on at dusk.

Can my solar lantern be left outside year-round?
Yes. The lantern is designed for year-round outdoor use with durable Tyvek® fabric and stainless steel hardware. While built to withstand outdoor conditions, natural wear may occur over time. In areas with heavy snow or ice, some customers choose to store lanterns during winter months.
