How do I set up my solar lantern? Setting up is simple! Remove the plastic battery tab, turn the solar panel switch to “on,” install your lantern supports, and hang in direct sunlight (6 hours for best results). Ensure the solar panel is facing up. The photosensor will automatically illuminate the lantern once it gets dark.

Can these be left outside year-round? Yes! These lanterns are designed with tough fabrics and stainless steel to handle the elements. While they are built for year-round use, we recommend taking them down in winter in areas with extreme snow and ice to maximize the life of the Tyvek® material.
