Turn the solar panel switch to the “on” position, install the lantern supports, and hang it in a location that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. The solar panel must face upward. Once the sun sets, your lantern will turn on automatically!

Can my solar lantern be left outside year-round? Yes! Allsop Home & Garden Lanterns are engineered for the outdoors. We use tough fabrics and stainless steel hardware to handle the weather. While they are built for year-round use, some customers choose to bring them inside during extreme winter conditions with heavy snow and ice to extend the life of the fabric.
